• Often this is caused by , improper pH level of water, especially pH level below 7 in your pool or spa
• Test the water pH level; adjust with Kem-Tek pH Plus as needed
• If the pH is good, then test for chloramines; chloramines are the most common source of spa water problems such as eye and skin irritation or unpleasant odors
• To find the chloramines in your water, take the total chlorine level minus the free chlorine
• If you have chloramines, shock your pool or spa using a Kem-Tek Step 3 shock product for your pool or spa
