Previous Troubleshooting Tip: Slippery Surfaces

This often happens in a freshly filled pool or spa when the water has a high iron or copper content.

• Test and adjust water pH level to 7.4
• Add Ultra Clarifier as needed
• Add Metal and Calcium Eliminator, and then a small amount of chlorine to water; check to see if color is developing in water
• If color develops, add more Metal and Calcium Eliminator and recheck; repeat as needed until you can add a small amount of chlorine to water without any color developing
